Bathroom wall lights can be
items overlooked by some
people and for others they
can be a major focus. In
many modern bathrooms
there are fixtures and fittings
with a matt nickel finish. It
makes sense to harmonise
the finish of taps, light pulls,
handles and light plates for a
totally coordinated look.
Nickel bathroom wall lights
are available in a variety of
styles and shapes that can
complement or contrast with
existing elements in your
décor. It is possible to
achieve a stunning effect by
having the lamp or light shape
providing a distinctive
difference. For example, if
you have squares or
rectangles as the dominant
shape in your room then a
circular shape will add
another dimension. Similarly,
if curves and circles feature
strongly in your bathroom
cylindrical rods or poles or
rectangular blocks will draw
attention to the
feature.
A pool of illumination can
provide atmosphere as well
as functional lighting if it is
positioned correctly. It may
be possible to have your
lights act as night lights if they
are suitable for use with a
dimmer switch. If they are
compatible, then you can
have the bathroom dimly lit
through the night, which will
make visits in the dark much
easier. This is an especially
good idea if you have young
children in the house.
Choosing a light doesn’t have
to be hard. Decide which
features are most desired and
prioritise them. If it has to be
nickel, it has to be nickel
thereafter you might be open
to suggestion regarding any
lamp shade colours, shape or
ease of cleaning. |
