The Evo 56 features a built in PIR movement sensor that is fully adjustable for time (10 – 80 seconds), lux level and sensitivity. The light also features a manual override switch that enables you to turn the light on and off when required.

You may take a sharp intake of breath at the initial cost of £79.99 +vat but look at it this way. You have an area around the house or a shed at the bottom of the garden that needs to be lit for security or just so you can see your way this light is the ideal solution you simply screw the light and the solar panel to whichever area you choose let the solar panel charge the internal batteries during the day and viola. How much money have you just saved with not having to get an electrician in to chase wiring into the walls or even worse run a cable under your lawn.

Solar deck lights will help you maximise the advantages of having a deck; after all, if you want to make the most of your deck, you have to light it! Decking is wonderful in the way it transforms your home and the ways in which you use it, but without lighting you can only fully use the space during daylight hours.

There is a huge variety in the styles and methods that can be employed to bring light to your outside space; garden lights range from posts to pendants, lanterns to wall lights, and cover everything in between. Don’t forget, if you are installing floor lighting into your decking, you need to ensure that the lights are flush fitting and designed for walk-over.

With the much vaunted credit crunch, running costs are an important consideration – and this is exactly where solar garden lights earn their keep. As solar garden lights convert sunlight into power, they won’t financially cripple you in energy bills.

Light up your nights and make that deck earn its keep; you can begin by taking a look at our solar deck lights now.

What would ancient man have made of solar garden lights? The technological advances made in recent years are so many and varied that, sometimes, we can become blasé but, if you stop for a moment and see solar powered lights through ancient eyes, you too will be blown away. What is this magic that stores the power and light of the sun, only to release it when darkness falls!

Truth is, solar lights are miraculous even by modern standards; they’re mobile, require no cabling, they come on exactly when you need them to, and they’re economical, costing nothing to run. Oh, they don’t drain the earth’s resources either.

Of course, nothing is perfect and in the northern hemisphere solar powered lights are only truly efficient for nine months of the year – the British winter isn’t really conducive to using solar power. However, most sensible people are tucked up cosily inside their home during the winter months!

Isn’t this as near to perfection as it gets? Check out our solar garden lights now!
